I can't believe how long it's been since I've updated this site!
A lot has happened in that time.
Last time I told
you the publisher of The Enchanted Faerie had closed it's
doors. With the blessing of the authors concerned, I shopped the
anthology around. It has since been contracted by
The Wild Rose Press,
and is in production as I write.
We don't have a
release date yet, but should have it soon.
In the process of
considering The Enchanted Faerie,
The Wild Rose Press
asked if I would become one of their editors. And so I
did.
Amidst all this
I've moved house. After living in the same home for
twenty-two years, we've moved to a much bigger home. The
sole reason for this was to better accommodate our son and his
three children who have been living with us for nearly five
years.
We've spent over
two years trying to find a five bedroom house with a study, and
finally the perfect house arrived. We've been here a
little over a week (at this writing), and are basking in the
spaciousness we now have.
My office is in
addition to the study, and is an open plan office. It's
not properly set up yet, but will be in the next few days. (Yay!)
I've done very
little in the way of writing for about a month, preparing for
the move, and eagerly await the chance to write regularly again.
I recently started
a new novel, and want to get back into it as soon as I can.
The other news
relates to my two novels that were to be released this year.
The publisher had them for two years, with virtually no
movement.
Since they'd well and truly broken our contract, and no joy in
sight, I asked for my rights back. One of those books is
currently under review with a publisher, and I'll be submitting
the other very soon.
